Trailer Mode
Trailer Mode
When your vehicle detects an electrical connection has been made with the trailer connector, it automatically enters Trailer Mode. This adjusts the drive mode for enhanced towing capabilities.
The Trailer Mode indicator (telltale) illuminates on the Driver Display when the vehicle detects a trailer attached to the vehicle’s hitch.
Note: When Trailer Mode is activated, certain Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) functions may be enabled or disabled, depending on how they relate to pulling a trailer.
Note: If the trailer does not have brake lights or its lights are defective, the trailer will not be detected by the vehicle and Trailer Mode will not be activated.
