Replacing a Fuse
Replacing a Fuse
WARNING: Make sure the vehicle is powered off and unplugged from the charger before changing a fuse.
CAUTION: Only use Fisker-authorized replacement fuses of the same rating and type, or fuses of matching specification. Using an incorrect fuse may result in damage to the vehicle’s electrical system and can result in a fire.
CAUTION: If the replacement fuse blows after installation, the system should be checked by Fisker.
Your vehicle uses a number of fuses to protect the electrical system from damage caused by short circuiting or overloading. Fuses are a one-time protection device and must be replaced each time the corresponding circuit is overloaded.
Using the fuse information shown on the following pages, identify the fuse protecting the affected circuit. Use a fuse puller to remove the required fuse.
A break in the wire inside the fuse indicates that the fuse has blown. Always replace a fuse with one of equal current and voltage rating.
Note: Fisker recommends that owners do not remove or replace relays. Failure of any of these items should be investigated by a qualified technician.
