Resetting the Vehicle

Resetting the Vehicle

A situation may arise (such as when selling your vehicle) where you wish to wipe all personal information from the vehicle and restore it to its default factory settings.

When a factory reset is performed:

  • If a profile has been saved to the vehicle, it is deleted. The Guest profile is active after the reset.

  • The Guest profile returns to its default factory settings.

  • All apps and services are signed out (e.g., Alexa, streaming services).

  • All vehicle settings are restored to their factory defaults.

Note: Once a factory reset is performed, it cannot be undone.

To initiate a factory reset:

  1. Shift the gear into P (Park).

  2. On the Central Touchscreen, select  > Software, then tap the Reset Vehicle Settings button.

  3. You will be prompted to confirm your choice. Tap the Reset button to continue.

  4. The reset will start five minutes after all occupants have exited the vehicle and the doors are locked.

Note: If a factory reset fails, a notification will display on the Central Touchscreen.

  • If a failure was due to a prerequisite not being met (e.g., battery State of Charge was too low), resolve the issue and try resetting again.

  • If a failure was due to another reason, contact Fisker via the Fisker App for assistance.
